Private Equity (PE)

Currently, the Indian economy is on a growth trajectory. For cases where the term loans are inadequate to meet the growing demands of funds for expansion, modernization etc., PE plays a major role in accelerating growth. In addition to providing finance the client can also gain access to new customers, suppliers, opportunity to join forces with other enterprises in the PE firm's portfolio and get management depth. Expansion, which is possible only in years to come, can be easily achieved by infusing sufficient funds into the system. It is available for listed / non-listed companies. Liquidating share holding by 10% to 40% can enable the client to generate sizable funds. PE funds have already invested USD 15bn from 2000 to 2006.
